“ORIGIN” - the novel of a dead world
The book faces two visions about this world and about its future. With artistry and masterful elements in the field of science, the writer Dan Brown manages to imagine a very plastic future for mankind, a plausible future. Because the technique, the microtechnique and the super-technique have transformed recently, life itself, into art, the author assures us that, in the future, man will become a new species, the writer himself, calling it “TEHNIUM”. A fascinating vision and, why not, possible, only that the “world” imagined by the author in his novel, does not take into account all the coordinates of the life of a man. Especially and particularly grave in our opinion, the writer Dan Brown eliminates from our life and existence, an essential coordinate that differentiates us from the other beings on earth, namely the soul. The present book brings forward to the readers, another vision of life and of the future of mankind, which also has in mind the coordinate “soul”, without which we cannot admit the existence of man. We are talking about the Christian-biblical view that we believe that we should not neglect because at essential (crucial) moments of history, scholars, philosophers, or simply faithful practitioners of the teachings of the Holy Scripture, came back to it, with new data or observations. Now, at the beginning of the 3rd millennium, it is extremely discussed, the topic “WHERE ARE WE HEADED TO?”, question with an answer analysed also by the writer Dan Brown. “ORIGIN” - the novel of a dead world presents another direction that we think the world will take, different from the one described in the novel. It is the vision based on the biblical texts, the Old and the New Testament. Each reader is free to analyse and choose!
QUESTIONS FOR THE AUTHOR1. Through “Origin”, you would like to create a book of fictional or scientific literature?2. In the Universe and in its history are there also some supernatural (immaterial) laws? Is it possible to be acquainted with them?3. Is science capable of truly experimenting, the complexity of the act of creation?4. Is it possible to artificially reproduce the “creation laws”, so that the initial creation could be clearly visualised on a LCD screen? If yes, why did you not attach a CD to the book with all the moves that you described on the imaginary screen?5. Out of the conceptions about the creation of the Universe, is there a single one accepted by all the scientists?6. What is the human? The making, life and its existence can be explained only with the aid of sciences?7. What is the soul? Why are we excluding the soul problematic when analysing the creation of the Universe and of the human?8. Are the eternity and the death elements of a human’s life?9. Is it possible to talk about the death of the Universe? Which are the conditions?10. The human being is made only from good sides, or does it have in its making also bad sides? What scientific laws are able to analyse the being, in its complexity, good and bad?11. If God exists, is it possible to know Him? Which are the methods?12. Is there a good world (pure, that belongs to God) and a bad one (sinful, that belongs to Satan)? Where does the human stand by relating to these?13. What is eternity and how does the human relate to it?
